Vision: The Church Internal
Read Ephesians 4:11-16 and 1 Corinthians 12:18-26
God has called us all to be an active member of his body the church. To equip each other, lift each other up, and use our gifts, talents, resources, time, and money to become more than we ever could be without each other. In essence, to advance the gospel in our church amongst each other.
- We said our pathway to discipleship (being equipped) is knowing God, finding community, and making disciples. Talk about how each of those plays out at Freshwater and how they equip us to do the work of the ministry and grow in the fullness of Christ
- How effective do you think your LG is at equipping/discipling each other? What are your strengths? Where do you think you could grow?
- 1 Corinthians 12 taught that we all have gifts and that they were given to help make the body strong. What does this really mean, and how do you think it is suppose to play out in the local church?
- Do you think you are using your gifts, resources, time, and money to help make the body of Christ we are apart of stronger? If yes, why and how does that play out? If not, why and would you like it to change?
