Exodus 32: 1 – 14
Read Exodus 32:1-14
- What stuck out to you in the passage?
- It seems that with the golden calf, the altar, and the sacrifices, Aaron and the people were trying to mix the world’s ways with God’s ways. What does that mean, and how do we still see those things playing out today?
- The people wanted to worship the way they wanted, and not the way the God wanted. Where do you think we are at risk of doing that now?
- Moses “stood in the gap” for his people as Christ has done for us. What would it look like for you to follow the example of Moses and Christ in your life?
- Take some time as a group to pray for specific people that need you to stand in the gap for them.
