2. In this passage of scripture, the Lord gives specific instructions for applying the Ten Commandments. How do you see these applications providing protection for God’s people?
3. How can these applications of the law bring honor to the Lord?
4. Some of the applications of the law have been fulfilled in Christ and are no longer necessary. How do you think they still apply regarding justice, community, and the value of human life?
5. God encourages Israel that if they obey His law then He will bless, protect, and provide for them. In what ways do you think the Lord still does that for us today?
