LG Question

Week of April 5th

Read Romans 14:1-23, with particular focus on verse 13-23.

  1. What stuck out to you, convicted you, or encouraged you in the passage?
  2. Someone remind us what it means to be weak and strong in the faith in the context of this passage (not in general, but in the context of Romans 14).
  3. How do we “walk in love” in the context of 14:13-15? How could you be more careful to walk in this kind of love (again, not love in general, but love defined by these verses)?
  4. This is really about letting go of our freedoms in Christ for the sake of others. What is the goal of this kind of sacrificial love according to verses 17-19?
  5. What would it look like for you to be more concerned about people experiencing the kind of faith that leads to joy, peace and righteousness, than being concerned about your own freedoms?
