Baptized Into Christ
God gave man His law from the beginning with Adam and throughout time to you and me. Time has proven from generation to generation that it is impossible to keep all of the law. God presents grace to all who will believe through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. In Jesus, we have a relationship with God beginning now and forever.
Read Romans 5:20 – 6:4
- Romans 6:2 reminds us that we who follow Jesus have died to sin. Go around the group and discuss what it looks like to die to sin.
- It is hard for anyone to fully understand the power of God and Jesus resurrection from the dead. In Romans 6:4 Paul points out that the same power that God used to raise Jesus from the dead works through us as we live in a new life. How have you seen that power in your life or in the life of someone you know?
