Baptism & Pot Luck
Hey, Freshwater Church!
Next Sunday, September 1st, we will be having baptisms and a potluck lunch right after the service. We will be at the Freshwater House (2067 N Hoffman Avenue). We hope you’re planning to come – this is one of our rare events where the focus will be fellowship within our church family.
Here’s what you need to know:
* Bring 1-2 dishes to share. If you can bring a main dish, that would be really great. But if a bag of chips is all you can bring, that’s great, too. We want you to come!
* Paper goods and bottled water will be provided.
* Bring your lawn chairs and/or blankets to sit on. If you have extra chairs, please bring them, too. Labeling your chairs is probably a good idea.
* Bring lawn games if you like.
* If you want to be baptized, talk with J.T. or Denny. Bring a towel and a change of clothes.
*You can park in the side front lawn at the FW House or anywhere in the yard across the street (front, back, south side). If parking is tight, you can drop your things off, then park at the Tom Watkins Community Building around the corner on High Street.
* Guests are always welcome!
