Families we want to give you every opportunity to disciple your children and empower you to feel comfortable and confident in doing so. This is why we will have Family Discipleship questions every week throughout our Romans series. The questions will follow what you are already learning on Sunday mornings, through personal discipleship, and in LG. This will just be a chance for the whole family to learn and grow together.
Here’s is what we are asking. At least 1-2 times a week around the dinner table discuss these questions with your children. Include them in what you are learning and let them see you guiding them to Jesus. We are behind you if you need any help or have any questions feel free to reach out to your Pastors and leaders!
God is promising us that one day all suffering will go away forever. Not only will he do away with pain and death, but he will give us new bodies and we will live with God in his glory and beauty forever. When things get hard, it’s these promises that give us hope.
- Why do you think there is suffering, pain and death in this world?
- God is saying that one day it won’t be like this anymore. Why does that give us hope?
- How do we know that we can trust God even when things are hard (hint: the gospel/Jesus suffering to save us)?
